Promising young singer visits OFFS in Armenia

One of the Armenian OFFS schools was arranged in Akhurian near Gyumri city, which was stroke by a serious earthquake in 1988. More than 25.000 people lost their lives and there are still signs left from the catastrophe even though most of the city is rebuild.

The OFFS school was loaded with children and parents at the opening ceremony and entertainment by a promising singer, Khoren, 18 old and known for his beautiful voice and for his 1st price in a song contest in Poland.

Khoren is special, not only for his voice but also for his crucial destiny.
When he was born his parents – both doctors – realised that he was seriously handicapped and they left him in a house for orphans. Here he grew up but despite his handicap he wanted show and prove that he had some skills.

“I have a dream of studying music at the university but it is not easy if you don’t have any financial support and this is my biggest challenge”, Khoren said.
