Moldova celebrated UEFA Grassroots Day!!!

UEFA has declared Wednesday 19 May 2010 as UEFA Grassroots Day, and with that occasion in Moldova will be celebrated One Week of UEFA Grassroots Football from May 16 to 23. Everybody from small to old who love this wonderful game will be able to participate in it.

 

According to the plan, during the week from May 16 to 23 all over the country will boil football passion: veterans and youngsters, men and women, students, government representatives, media, sponsors, people with disabilities and all of them will enjoy football on stadiums and the mini-pitches.

 

In our opinion it is extremely important and useful to integrate more children with disabilities, orphans in regular occupation of football and physical cultures that is why we give consideration to the football teams from orphanages and correctional boarding schools. Since within a team are born very best quality, such as a sense of camaraderie and responsibility for each other.

 

 

With this purpose at the boarding school № 3 in Chisinau was organized the football tournament, in which studies and lives 240 children. There are 60 orphans and children from disadvantaged families among them. The tournament brought together girls and boys, teachers and coaches in one big family.

 

When it is about a holiday, there were plenty of gifts. In the framework of the Grassroots Football Day, FA of Moldova and OFFS Moldova presented balls and each of child received souvenirs. The celebration was attended by assistants Coordinator CCPA/OFFS Moldova: Conusevici Iurie, Ceban Svetlana and instructor OFFS Natalia Ceban.

 

Each child has the opportunity to become not only a witness, but a direct participant in the Grassroots football program in the Republic of Moldova!
