Springtime in Moldova

The main celebration in the spring for girls and women’s are the International Women’s Day!!! International Women's Day (IWD) is marked on March 8 every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political, sports and social achievements of women.

In this connection FA of Moldova, office CCPA/OFFS Moldova in collaboration with Association of Women Football held the football tournament named “Springtime”.

The tournament held on 4th March in capital Chisinau, on the Buiucani stadium. In the tournament 12 teams toke part from all Moldova, in total more than 100 girls from 12-14 years participated in the event.

In the tournament more than 16 coaches from women football toke part, including instructors CCPA/OFFS Ceban Natalia (instructor OFFS) and Ceban Svetlana (assistant coordinator). They helped in organization of this tournament, and refereed all matches. Corman Tatiana (instructor OFFS) participated as a coach in tournament together with the team FC “Norok”. The team toke the fourth place.

The central office CCPA/OFFS Moldova tries to development women football in Moldova, and all OFFS women instructors take part in such football tournaments with big desire.
