Novo Nordisk Cup in Macedonia 

Traditionally like every year, Open Fun Football Schools in cooperation with Novo Nordisk organized one day activites for celebration of the world day for prevention of diabetes November 14.

This year the activites were organized in 10 municipalities, municipality Gazi Baba ( the event was in local community Trubarevo), municipality Karpos ( local community Bardovci), Brvenica/Jegunovce, Stip, Pehcevo, Sveti Nikole, Negotino, Gevgelija, Prilep, Debarca in the period between 13-18.11.2009. More then 1000 children took part at the activity, 40 coaches, big number of teachers and school principals, some of the mayors of the municipalities and 10 representatives of the health institutions who gave a very good lecture about diabetes and how living healthy and play sports can lower your chances of getting diabetes, what was the main reason of organizing this Cup. The weather was sunny, so it gave the children a enjoyment and through the games of Bon-Bon Cup they had fun, and at the end of the Cup they received a diploma for participation in the Novo Nordisk Cup and they received refreshments ( food and beverages). A contribution for organizing the Novo Nordisk Cup gave the Football Federation of Macedonia by donating football equipment.
