CCPA BiH campained for World Diabetes Day

As  final events and conclucion of our two weeks activities in towns and cities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 14 th of November, World Diabetes Day, CCPA OFFS BiH organized special events in Sarajevo, Brcko and Tuzla.

 

Brcko hosted members of Diabetic society of the region. CCPA instructor Malbasa Ugljesa led the event of 80 children and their parents. Children played fun football games, adapted to their cababilities. Games were followed by a joined walk and lecture on importance of healthy life style in fighting diabetes, given by local medical staff.

 

 

Tuzla–s CCPA leader Enes Babajic, together with instructor Vehad Ibrisimovic, brought together 100 kids from Tuzla and Lukavac, who had participated in NN Cup during the previous days. Children met in Tuzla-s square and walked together to promote fight against diabetes.  

 

Sarajevogathered children from Ilidza and Butmir by Bascarsija fountain, where they posed and talked with local journalists. Children, along with press, guests and members of Diabetic society of Canton Sarajevo, walk together to the hall of Municipality old town. Children were given NN diplomas and played a bit of fun football in front of the building.  Ministry of health of Canton Sarajevo, municipality mayor and medical staff later on explained important facts on diabetes as well as ways to prevent it and fight it.

 

These three events were organized apart regular CCPA-s activities with NovoNordisk, and are part of the agreement that CCPA OFFS office Sarajevo made with local NovoNordisk branch office.
