Building local capacity in Open Fun Football SchoolsAs part of the prestigious Sport for Peace Award given to Cross Cultures this summer, Beyond Sport has offered Cross Cultures and our local Open Fun Football Schools teams an in-kind contribution in the form of two managers from the Accenture to assist us in building local capacity.
Cross Cultures has in particular requested Accenture to assist us in a brush-over of our Strategic Development Plans 2010-12 for all our branch offices in the Balkans as well as drafting new national fundraising strategies. From October 18 to November 5 2009, Ms Katy V. Pittis and Mr Aaron Mortimer both managers in Accenture are doing a tour de force in the Open Fun Football Schools programme in the Balkan region.
18 – 21 October Accenture met with our managers of the Open Fun Football Schools office in Skopje, Macedonia
22 October Accenture visited a local fun football school of 200 kids in Serbia. 23 – 24 October Accenture attended a regional coordinators’ and staff meeting in Belgrade, Serbia 25 – 27 October Accenture met with our managers of Open Fun Football Schools office in Zagreb, Croatia 28 – 30 October Accenture met with our managers of the Open Fun Football Schools office in Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina. Finally from 2 – 4 November Accenture will meet the management at our headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark. ![]() |
